Last week, a few of the yaos team members attended the Microsoft BizSpark City Camp at their offices in Wallisellen, Zurich. The event gives Startups a great opportunity to mingle with Microsoft employees, meet other startups, listen to other success stories, attend constructive talks and consult with Technical Evangelists about issues they are experiencing. The startups are all of a tech-based nature and all utilise Microsoft products in the development of their products.

Earlier this year, yaos became part of the  Microsoft BizSpark Plus program. The two-year program allows access to various Microsoft technologies for the duration as well as up to $10’000 Azure cloud credits per month. The next year yaos will continue to further develop our LimeFlight application so the Microsoft BizSpark Program supplies us with key benefits and support necessary for this development. Our involvement in the program is proving to be integral in helping us develop the best and most competitive inflight catering software solution on the market. Having this support affords us the opportunity to further experiment and find what works for us.

All of our founders here at yaos have a long history of working with Microsoft and their extensive product range so the decision to partner with one of the words biggest tech giants was an easy one. After extensively researching the possibilities for cloud providers, yaos concluded that Microsoft offers one of the best and biggest startup programs by far. The connections, opportunities and support the program provides are second to none. We thoroughly enjoy being part of the BizSpark community and would recommend the experience to any other startup out there!
